报告摘要:

The ability to manipulate the frequency of optical photon is demanding for many applications. For example, in a hybrid quantum system, the carrier and transition frequencies of different components may be different. A coherent optical frequency converter would allow the quantum information be faithfully transferred between different quantum subsystems. In this talk, I will introduce the integrated optomechanical photon frequency shifter and converter. For the fine tuning of frequency, a continuum optomechanical modulator would allow efficient frequency shifting of about 150 GHz. For coarse tuning, a mechanical mode could mediated the coherent conversion between optical cavity modes with wavelength difference of few hundreds of nanometers.

报告人简介:

邹长铃,20087月于中国科学技术大学获学士学位,20147月于中国科学技术大学获博士学位,之后赴美国耶鲁大学开展博士后研究,20173-至今为中国科学技术大学光学与光学工程系副研究员。主要从事量子光学和集成光学芯片的实验和理论研究。
